THE COMPANY / 01

The art of making
movement meaningful.

We approach dance entertainment as an integral part of an event: an exchange between performers, music, architecture and audience.

ABOUT AURELLE STAGE

Creative intention.
Production awareness.

AURELLE STAGE is the presentation identity for Geraldine Dance, bringing an editorial approach to professional dance entertainment enquiries in Canada. Our focus is on performances that complement the event setting rather than competing with it.

A gala may call for a sweeping ballroom entrance. A brand occasion may need graphic, contemporary movement. A wedding celebration may require a more intimate and personal tone. The brief determines the direction.

PEOPLE BEHIND THE PERFORMANCE

A production is a conversation.

Creative direction only becomes a performance when different disciplines are brought together with care.

01 / CREATIVE

Choreographic direction

Composition, pacing, musical interpretation and the overall performance language are considered together.

02 / TALENT

Performers & rehearsal

Cast configuration, rehearsal planning, entrances and partner work are reviewed for the agreed concept.

03 / EVENT

On-site coordination

We discuss venue access, technical cues and scheduling with the event contacts as needed.

WORKING METHOD

From first note
to final bow.

The conversation starts with a description of the occasion. We explore the desired tone and format before discussing cast size, staging and technical considerations.

Once the scope is agreed in writing, rehearsal and event coordination can be arranged in accordance with the production schedule. Clear communication with venue and event contacts remains central throughout.
